Healing the Legacy of Rootlessness: Sharing Our Medicine with an Ailing World

Wednesday, February 24 from 7 - 8:30 pm EST (4 - 5:30 pm PST.)

Rootlessness—being forcibly displaced from the spot on earth you call home—is a central theme in Jewish ancestral legacies around the globe. The challenge of continuously losing ones place, Makom, and the painful task of having to replant and recreate life again and again have produced both intergenerational trauma and a unique set of psycho-spiritual gifts that position Jews to contribute richly to the current critical moment. Join Rabbi Dr. Tirzah Firestone for an experiential journey into our ancestral histories and the healing legacies they have to offer us and the world at large.

This event is hosted by ALEPH's Earth-Based Judaism program.
